Editorial policy: how Mentorele content is written and reviewed

How Mentorele researches, writes, reviews, labels and updates CRO content: sources, evidence labels, AI assistance, corrections and commercial independence.

Principles

  1. Evidence before opinion. Claims cite sources. We separate established findings, debated findings and practitioner heuristics.
  2. No invented results. We never invent test results, client names, testimonials or credentials. Fictional examples are labelled as fictional, and their numbers as illustrative.
  3. Ethics first. We don’t teach or test dark patterns.
  4. Accessible to everyone. Free to read, no registration wall, designed to WCAG 2.2 AA.

How a piece is made

Brief → primary-source research → evidence ledger → outline → draft → factual and statistical review → accessibility review → internal links → approval → scheduled release → monitoring.

  • Presenter and expert reviewer. Lessons and guides are presented by Phil the CRO Guy, a fictional guide, and expert-reviewed by Filip Doneski before publication. Each page shows the reviewer and the date it was last updated. In structured data, Mentorele (not Phil) is listed as the author.
  • AI assistance. AI tools may help with research organisation and drafting. A human expert reviews every claim, number and source before publication, and nothing is published automatically without that approval.
  • Sources. Every source is recorded with its URL, access date, the claim it supports and its limitations.

Case-study labels

Label Meaning
Fictional demonstration Invented business and original wireframes, to teach a method
Observational teardown Dated observations of a public interface; hypotheses only
Reported experiment Figures attributed to a public report, not independently verified
Pattern analysis A recurring pattern across many products, without company-specific results

Commercial independence

Mentorele’s educational content is free. Paid services are delivered by a partner CRO agency. If we ever recommend a third-party tool or agency in return for compensation, it will be disclosed next to the recommendation. See the referral disclosure.
